Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U67420, Road From New House Farm To The Old Lodge Gwynns Hill, Much Marcle, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U67420, Road From New House Farm To The Old Lodge Gwynns Hill, Much Marcle, opposite the junction to Gwynnes Hill. Grid Ref: 365525/230583. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1289 onto the B4024, onto the A449 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to new service connection works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 6th of February 2023 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
