NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: C1196 From Stone Street To Cornerstone, Canon Bridge Madley, Temporary Road Closure Order, to tempor-arily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1196 From Stone Street To Cornerstone, Canon Bridge Madley, at the junction with Magnolia Farm Road. Grid Ref: 343167/241127. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1196 onto Stone Street, onto the B4352 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to new service connection works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 23rd of January 2023 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 5 days.
