Lower Easton, Temporary Road Closure

Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U94403, Lower Easton, Leysters, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U94403, Lower Easton, Leysters, from the junction with Frog Lane to the junction of the C1052. Grid Ref: 354797/264526. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1052 onto the C1049 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to mains renewal works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 30th of January 2023 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 61 days.
