Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: C1120 From A49 To Old School House Via Moreton-On-Lugg, Moreton-On-Lugg, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1120 From A49 To Old School House Via Moreton-On-Lugg, Moreton-On-Lugg, outside Lindholme. Grid Ref: 350794/245695. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Walkers Green onto the C1122 From C1120 onto the A49 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to new connection works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 11th of February 2023 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
