Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Begbroke Science Park, Bridleway Closure Date of Order: 9/01/2023 Coming into force: 16/1/2023 This Order is being introduced because of works to create a shared use footpath/cycleway between the science park and Roundham Bridge (National Cycle Route 51) which includes associated landscaping and which is anticipated to take until 16/06/2023 to complete. The effect of the Order is to close temporarily the existing Begbroke Science Park Footpath/Bridal Way and Roundham Bridge. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for pedestrian access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of bridleway. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.
The alternative route for those affected by the closure will be signed locally.
This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T11226/RF)

Yarnton, Church Lane
Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 9/1/2023
Coming into force: 16/1/2023 This Order is being introduced because of sewer repairs which are anticipated to take 12 days to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the northern section of Church Lane. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref. T11141/RMF)

Somerton Bridleway 5 & Middle Aston Bridleway 7 Closure Closure commenced 12 January 2023
Date of Order: 9 January 2023 Coming into force: 12 January 2023 This Order continues in force an emergency closure introduced on 22 December 2022 because of unsafe surface conditions on the Bridleways. The effect of the Order is to temporarily close for up to 6 months that part of the Bridleways where they meet near their parish borders. Pedestrian access will continue. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works. Appropriate signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
