NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Stevenage Borough Council, acting as agents for the Hertfordshire County Council and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police proposes to make the above named Order under Sections 32-35C and Parts lll-IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The Order is proposed in order to better manage parking places to relieve and prevent congestion, and maintain and improve the amenity of the area by providing additional parking spaces following the redevelopment of Railway North car park in Stevenage, creating additional designated disabled parking, motorcycle parking and designated electric vehicle parking bays with appropriate charging infrastructure. The general effect of the Order will be to replace an existing car park with a new car park and set the charges highlighted in the Schedule to this Notice. Schedule: charges payable for parking
