Temporary Traffic Management Order

The London Borough Of Barking And Dagenham (Grafton Road, Dagenham) (Temporary Prohibition Of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2022 Notice Of Intent

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in order to facilitate works for a UKPN linkbox replacement, the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham intends to make a Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

2. The order is expected to come in to effect on Monday 30 January 2023. The works expected for:

* UKPN linkbox replacement works to take 5 days to complete. Completion date estimated as Friday 3 February 2023 with the work expected to be undertaken between the hours of 8.00am and 5.00pm.

However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be re-introduced should further works be required.
3. When the works are taking place and the appropriate traffic signs are being displayed the Order will temporarily: -

* Prohibit all vehicular traffic on Grafton Road, both sides, from its junction with Becontree Avenue for a distance of 15 metres in a northerly direction.

4. Alternative routes for Vehicular traffic will be maintained and signed:

? Via Becontree Avenue, Hitherfield Road, Bentry Road, Grafton Road and Vice Versa.
