TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990
The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highway (South West) (No. 30) Order 2022" authorising the stopping up of a part width of Portland Beach Road at Weymouth, in the Borough of Weymouth and Portland. This is to enable development as permitted by Weymouth and Portland Borough Council under reference WP/18/00388/RES.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/SW/S247/5250). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Broadmeadow Post Office, 63 Portland Road, Wyke Regis, Weymouth, DT4 9BE.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 11 January 2023.
