Parks Lane, Temporary Road Closure

Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U73006, Parks Lane, Canon Pyon, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U73006, Parks Lane, Canon Pyon, opposite 'The Parks'. Grid Ref: 347662/247121. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the A4110 onto Wellington Lane and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to new service connection works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 30th of January 2023 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
