Stonebow Road, Temporary Road Closure

Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U80205, Stonebow Road, Hereford, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles North-Westerly on the U80205, Stonebow Road, Hereford. Grid Ref: 351614/240249. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Hospital Private Road onto Union Walk onto Commercial Road onto Stonebow Road.

The said closure is required due to reinforcement works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 30th January 2023 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 12 days.
