NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: U72630, Mill Lane, Wellingtonjemporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U72630, Mill Lane, Wellington, from the junction of Derndale Road to the junction of Millway. Grid Ref: 348746/248636. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Mill Lane onto Village Street, onto the A49, onto the Derndale Road and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to drainage works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 20th of January 2023 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 6 days.
