TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FOOTPATH CHORLEYWOOD 3 & 4
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council have made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians from using that length of Footpath Chorleywood 3 & 4, heading southward from Solesbridge Lane to Troutstream Way, for an approximate distance of 980 & 360m.
Alternative route: via Solesbridge Lane, Rickmansworth Road and Troutstream Way

The purpose of the Order is to enable drainage works to take place.
The section of Footpath will be closed on or after 12 January 2023 for up to 7 weeks, when signs are in place.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF VARIOUS ROADS IN BUSHEY AND WATFORD) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"):-

1. that length of A4008 Stephenson Way, Bushey from its junction with the Colonial Way roundabout north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with the A41 North Western Avenue/M1 (junction 5) roundabout, a distance of approximately 1292m.
An alternative route will be via A4008 Stephenson Way, A411 (Beechen Grove/Exchange Road/Beechen Grove), A412 St Albans Road and A41 (North Western Avenue/North Western Avenue Colne Way).
2. the A41 northbound slip road leading onto the northbound carriageway of A41 North Western Avenue Colne Way, Bushey from its junction with the A41 North Western Avenue/M1 (junction 5) roundabout north westwards to its junction with the northbound carriageway of A41 North Western Avenue Colne Way, a distance of approximately 420m.
An alternative route will be via A4008 Stephenson Way, A411 (Beechen Grove/Exchange Road/Beechen Grove), A412 St Albans Road and A41 (North Western Avenue/North Western Avenue Colne Way).
3. the A41 North Western Avenue/M1 (junction 5) roundabout, Bushey from its southernmost junction with A4008 Stephenson Way clockwise for a distance of approximately 157m.
An alternative route will be via A4008 Stephenson Way, A411 (Beechen Grove/Exchange Road/Beechen Grove), A412 St Albans Road and A41 (North Western Avenue/North Western Avenue Colne Way).4. the A41 North Western Avenue/M1 (junction 5) roundabout, Bushey from its junction with the A41 southbound slip road leading onto the southbound carriageway of A41 Otterspool Way clockwise to its southernmost junction with A4008 Stephenson Way, a distance of approximately 142m.
An alternative route will be via A41 (North Western Avenue/ Otterspool Way/North Western Avenue Colne Way/North Western Avenue), A412 St Albans Road, A411 Beechen Grove and A4008 Stephenson Way.
5. the A41 northbound slip road leading onto the A4008 Stephenson Way/M1 (junction 5) roundabout, Bushey from its junction with the northbound carriageway of A41 North Western Avenue north westwards to its junction with the A4008 Stephenson Way/M1 (junction 5) roundabout, a distance of approximately 551m.
An alternative route will be via A41 (North Western Avenue/ Otterspool Way/North Western Avenue Colne Way/North Western Avenue), A412 St Albans Road, A411 Beechen Grove and A4008 Stephenson Way.

The Order is needed because bridge mainentance works are proposed to be executed near the Roads.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 27 January 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS IN WATFORD) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads") and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

1. that length of Liverpool Road, Watford from its junction with Clifton Road south eastwards to its junction with Cardiff Road, a distance of approximately 358m.
An alternative route will be via Clifton Road, St James Road and Cardiff Road.
2. that length of Westbury Road, Watford from its junction with Liverpool Road north eastwards to its junction with St James Road, a distance of approximately 199m.
An alternative route will be via Liverpool Road, Clifton Road and St James Road.
3. that length of Banbury Street, Watford from its junction with A4145 Vicarage Road north westwards to its junction with Souldern Street, a distance of approximately 103m. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
4. that length of Himalayan Way, Watford from its junction with Crusader Way north eastwards, north westwards, north eastwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 153m. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
5. that length of Chester Road, Watford from its junction with Queens Avenue north eastwards to its junction with Harwoods Road, a distance of approximately 312m.
An alternative route will be via Queens Avenue, A4145 Hagden Lane, Benskin Road and Harwoods Road.
6. that length of Chester Road, Watford from its junction with Durban Road East south westwards to its junction with Harwoods Road, a distance of approximately 245m.
An alternative route will be via Durban Road East, Whippendell Road, Queens Avenue, A4145 Hagden Lane, Benskin Road and Harwoods Road.
7. that length of Chester Road, Watford from its junction with Durban Road East north eastwards to its junction with Addiscombe Road, a distance of approximately 190m.
An alternative route will be via Durban Road East, Whippendell Road and Addiscombe Road.
8. that length of Pioneer Way, Watford from its junction with Crusader Way north eastwards and north westwards to its junction with Himalayan Way, a distance of approximately 139m. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
9. that length of Crusader Way, Watford from its westernmost junction with Scammell Way north eastwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 215m.
An alternative route will be via Scammell Way.
10. that length of Goodwood Avenue, Watford from its junction with Courtlands Drive north westwards for its entire length.
An alternative route will be via Courtlands Drive, Rosecroft Drive, The Drive, Greenbank Road and Minerva Drive.
11. that length of Brixton Road, Watford from its junction with A412 St Albans Road south eastwards for its entire length. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
12. that length of Cromer Road, Watford from its junction with Bradshaw Road north westwards and north eastwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
13. that length of Yarmouth Road, Watford from its junction withBradshaw Road north westwards for its entire length. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. 14. that length of Judge Street, Watford from its junction with A412 St Albans Road north westwards to its junction with Leavesden Road, a distance of approximately 428m.
An alternative route will be via A412 St Albans Road, Regent Street and Leavesden Road.
15. that length of Cecil Street, Watford from its junction with A412 St Albans Road north westwards to its junction with Leavesden Road, a distance of approximately 370m.
An alternative route will be via A412 St Albans Road, Regent Street and Leavesden Road.
16. that length of Regent Street, Watford from its junction
with Leavesden Road south eastwards to its junction with A412 St Albans Road, a distance of approximately 294m. An alternative route will be via Leavesden Road, Cecil Street and A412 St Albans Road.
17. that length of Essex Road, Watford from its junction with Malden Road south westwards and north westwards to its junction with Alexandra Road, a distance of approximately 287m. An alternative route will be via Malden Road and Alexandra Road.
18. that length of Malden Road, Watford from its junction with Alexandra Road south eastwards to its junction with Essex Road, a distance of approximately 227m.
An alternative route will be via Alexandra Road and Essex Road.
19. that length of Nascot Street, Watford from its junction with Langley Road south westwards to its junction with Malden Road, a distance of approximately 206m.
An alternative route will be via Langley Road, Alexandra Road and Malden Road.
20. that length of Denmark Street, Watford from its junction with Malden Road north eastwards to its junction with Langley Road, a distance of approximately 195m.
An alternative route will be via Malden Road, Alexandra Road and Langley Road.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THEOBALD STREET, BOREHAMWOOD) ORDER 2022
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Theobald Street, Borehamwood from its junction with B5378 Shenley Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 36m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via B5378 Allum Lane, A5183 (Watling Street/Cobden Hill/ Watling Street) and Theobald Street.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 11 January 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated
by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON VARIOUS ROADS IN BUSHEY HEATH) ORDER 2022
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access:-
1. the southbound carriageway of California Lane, Bushey Heath from its junction with A4140 High Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 33m.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible
throughout the duration of the works.
2. the northbound carriageway of A4140 High Road, Bushey Heath from a point in line with the eastern boundary of No.25 High Road north westwards to its junction with California Lane,
a distance of approximately 19m.
An alternative route will be via A4140 High Road, The Rutts, A411 Elstree Road and A4140 High Road.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicular traffic is prohibited from making a left turn manoeuvre from California Lane into A4140 High Road, Bushey Heath, whilst works are in progress.
An alternative route will be via A4140 High Road, A411 (High Road/Elstree Road), The Rutts and A4140 High Road.

The Order is needed because sewer cleaning works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 11 January 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

An alternative route will be via A404 (Riverside Drive/Church Street/ London Road/ Rickmansworth Road), A4180 (Ducks Hill Road/ Bury Street/High Street/West End Road), A40 (Western Avenue/ Oxford Road) and A412 (Denham Avenue/North Orbital Road/ Denham Way/Uxbridge Road).

2. that length of Vivian Gardens, Oxhey Hall from its junction with A4251 Hampermill Lane south eastwards for its entire length. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 7 January 2022 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.
