NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: U93605, Newtown Lane, Stag Batch, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U93605, Newtown Lane, Stag Batch, from the junction of the A44, then southwards for approximately 100 metres. Grid Ret 347076/258050. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Newtown Road onto Ivington Road, onto Ryelands Road, onto the B4361, onto the A44 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to junction repair and patching works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 20th of January 2023 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 4 days.
