Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U66622, Fossil Bank, Upper Colwall, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U66622, Fossil Bank, Upper Colwall, from the junction of Walwyn Road to outside West Hills. Grid Ref: 376813 / 243712. There is no alternate route for those affected by this proposal

The said closure is required due to rural fibre installation works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 9th of February 2023 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 week.
