NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under Its relevant powers, made the following Order: U71205, Boat Lane, Glewstone, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U71205, Boat Lane, Glewstone, Boat Lane. Grid Ref: 356378/222192. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal Is via A40 onto the C1248 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to cable and gully works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come Into force on 20th of January 2023 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 night.
