Proposed Order: to close that part of U50348 Sabrina Avenue from its junction with U50353 Park Avenue to its junction with U50350 Northwick Avenue.
Reason: Reconstruction of footway by WCC. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Reason: Bridgework & level crossing maintenance by Network Rail. Exemptions: No emergency access or access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Proposed Order: to close that part of A38 Bath Road from its junction with U52201 Norton Close to its junction with U52201 Elm Green Close.
Reason: New water connection by Severn Trent Water. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A38 Worcester Road, A4440 Broomhall Way, A4440 Crookbarrow Way, A4440 Whittington Road, A44 Whittington Road, A44 London Road, A38 Commandery Road, A38 Bath Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day Commencing: 29 January 2023.

Proposed Order: to close that part of C2068 Monkwood Green from its junction with C2236 Wichenford to its junction with U64006 Monkwood Green. Reason: Shrubbery planting by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2068 Monkwood Green, C2069 Worlds End, C2069 Sinton Green, C2069 Ockeridge, C2068 Wichenford and vice versa.

Proposed Order: to close that part of U54005 Farley Street from its junction with U54007 Hawkwood Crescent to its junction with U54001Comer Gardens and temporarily suspend the County of Hereford and Worcester (Farley Street) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1976 for the duration of the order to facilitate two-way traffic. Reason: New/replacement water main by Severn Trent Water Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Proposed Order: to close that part of A4133 Ombersley Road from its junction with A38 Roman Way to its junction with U40202 Hadley Lane.
Reason: Pole testing by Openreach.

(A38 St Nicholas Street, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) and (Prohibiton of Right-Hand Turn) Order 2023
Proposed Order: to close the section of A38 St Nicholas Street for
a distance of 23 metres from its junction with A38 Sansome Street
prohibiting traffic turning right onto A38 St Nicholas Street.
Reason: Repave footways and build new retaining wall by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the
highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to
allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: City Walls Road and vice versa.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) Worcestershire County Council (City of Worcester) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2022 [Disabled Persons Parking Place on Barbourne Lane, Worcester]
On 22 December 2022 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to create a Disabled Persons Parking Place on the following lengths and sides of roads in Worcester:-
Barbourne Lane (North Side): From a point 74 metres west of its junction with A38 Tything/Barbourne Road, opposite No.17, for a distance of 13.2 metres, in a westerly direction. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles. Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) Worcestershire County Council (Malvern Hills District) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2013 (Variation) Order 2022 [Prohibition of Waiting on B4424 Upton Road, Callow End and No Stopping on School Keep Clear Markings on Bow Hill, Callow End] Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following sides and lengths of road in Callow End: B4424 Upton Road (east side) from a point 9.4m south of its junction with Bow Hill for a distance of 22m in a southerly direction. B4424 Upton Road (West Side) from a point 60.2m south of its junction with Bow Hill for a distance of 33m in a southerly direction. B4424 Upton Road (East Side), from its junction with the southern most junction of Upper Ferry Lane for a distance of 9.6m in a northerly direction and 28.7m in a southerly direction. Upper Ferry Lane (southern most junction - south side) from its junction with the B4424 Upton Road for a distance of 14.5m in an easterly direction.
Upper Ferry Lane (southern most junction - north side) from its junction with the B4424 Upton Road for a distance of 11m in an easterly direction.
And to prohibit stopping on School Keep Clear Markings at any time on the following length and side of road in Callow End: Bow Hill, Callow End (south side) from its junction with the B4424 for a distance of 20.4m in an easterly direction. Diversion Of Footpaths Nj-523 (Part) & Nj-524 (Part) (Formerly Footpath 9) In The Parish Of Norton Juxta Kempsey Public Path Diversion Order 2022
On 15 December 2022 Worcestershire County Council confirmed the above order made under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980. The effect of the order as confirmed is to divert footpaths:
Footpath NJ-523
From a line running from OSGR SO 8902 5089 in a generally ESE direction, for 31m then continuing in a generally ENE direction for a further 78m to OSGR SO
8912 5091. The footpath then continues in a generally NNE direction, for a further 25m to OSGR SO 8913 5093 where it crosses the railway and continues in an ESE direction for 20m, to its junction with Footpath NJ-524 at OSGR SO 8915 5093.
To a line running from OSGR SO 8902 5089. The path proceeds in a generally SE direction for 30m at a width of 2m to OSGR SO 8904 5087 before turning to proceed in a generally ENE direction for 53m to footbridge steps at OSGR SO 8909 5087. The path then climbs the steps and crosses the railway line via footbridge for 48m, with a width of 2m, to the base of the eastern footbridge steps at OSGR SO 8915 5086. The path then continues in an E then NE direction for a distance of 78m to OSGR SO 8921 5089. The path then proceeds in a generally SSE direction for 10m crossing a footbridge at OSGR SO 8921 5088 and continuing for an additional 5m and terminating
at OSGR SO 8922 5088.
Footpath NJ-524
From a line running from OSGR SO 8915 5093 proceeding in a generally EN direction, for 195m to OSGR SO 8934 5097 The footpath turns SE for 5 metres then turns to head in a generally ENE direction for a further 79 metres to terminate at OSGR SO 8942 5100. To a line running with a width of 2m from OSGR SO 8922 5088. The stoned path proceeds in an E direction along the top of a bund adjacent to the railway access track for 250m to OSGR SO 8947 5089, then turns in a generally NNW direction for 80m following the stoned path to run alongside a fence line and exit through a gate to meet the B4084 at OSGR SO 8945 5095, as shown on the order map. On 15 December 2022 Worcestershire County Council confirmed the above order made under Section 118 of the Highways Act 1980.
The effect of the order as confirmed is to extinguish footpath NJ-545
and modify the definitive map and statement for Worcestershire
accordingly, running from OSGR SO 8916 5093 in a SSW direction for
80m to OSGR SO 8913 5086, as shown on the order map.
