PROPOSED NEW ZEBRA CROSSING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bury Metropolitan Borough Council in exercise of its powers under section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police for Greater Manchester, proposes to install a Zebra Crossing at the following location not less than 28 days from the date of this notice.

B6213 Tottington Road - Tottington - Zebra Crossing - just south of the junction of Walmsley Street.

A copy of the proposals, a plan showing the location of the proposed Zebra Crossing and a statement of the Council's reasons for making the proposal may be requested by email at traffic nalining@burv.gov.uk quoting reference PC/105.
All representations whether in support or objecting to the proposals, together with the grounds on which they are made must be made in writing and sent to the Head of Engineering, 3 Knowsley Place, Duke street, Bury BL9 OEJ or preferably by email to TROobjections@bury.gov.uk quoting any of the PC reference above by 6th February 2023.

Please note that all representations received may be considered in public by the Council and that the substance of any representation together with the name and address of the person making it could become available for public inspection.
