WARRINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Notice is hereby given that, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, the Council intends to make Orders under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Bridge Foot (Footway Closure) Temporary Order 2023
The effect of which will be to introduce a footway closure on Bridge Foot (northern footway) from its jct. with Barbauld St to its jct. with Bridge St. The Order will be effective from 23rd January 2023 for 1 week, as & when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Barbauld St, Friars Gate, Bridge St & vice versa. The closure is required to allow Scottish Power to replace a link box. Ref: High/2423

Highfield Rd, Lymm (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2023
The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Highfield Rd from its jct. with Booths Hill Rd to its jct. with Hardy Rd. The Order will be effective from 16th January 2023 for 2 weeks, as & when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Booths Hill Rd, Elm Tree Rd, Cherry Ln, Hardy Rd & vice versa. The closure is required to allow Cadent to carry out gas replacement works. Ref: High/2421

Liverpool Rd, Penketh (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2023
The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Liverpool Rd from its jct. with Penketh Rd to its jct. with East Ave. The Order will be effective from 16th January 2023 for 2 weeks, as & when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Penketh Rd, Sankey Way & vice versa. The closure is required to allow Cadent to carry out gas mains replacement works. Ref: High/2420

Walton Rd passageway rear of 46 to 54 & Chapel Ln passageway rear of 4 to 14 (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2023
The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving as follows: Walton Rd passageway rear of 46 to 54 for its entire length; Chapel Ln passageway rear of 4 to 14 for its entire length. The Order will be effective from 30th January 2023 for 1 week, as & when signed on site. The closure is required to allow United Utilities to carry out sewer repairs. Ref: High/2424

Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works.

Section 90A Highways Act 1980 Establishment of Road Humps & Traffic Calming Measures
Eagle Brow & Brookfield Road, Lymm, Traffic Calming Scheme 2023

Notice is hereby given that Warrington Borough Council intends, as part of its traffic calming proposals, to install traffic calming features, to regulate the speed of traffic under Section 90A to the Highways Act 1980, with the effects detailed in the Schedule to this notice.

The Borough of Warrington (Traffic Management) (Civil Enforcement) Consolidation (Amendment No.49) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers. The effect of the Order will be as follows: -
1. The Borough of Warrington (Traffic Management) (Civil Enforcement) Consolidation
Order 2018, is hereby further varied or amended as follows:-(a) In the 3rd Schedule by the addition of:-
