Oxfordshire, Various Proposed 20mph speed limit

OXFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

(EAST AND WEST HANNEY) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 20**

NOTICE is given that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.
The effect of the order - in order to help improve road safety on local roads following concerns raised by the parish council - is to introduce a 20mph speed limit throughout East Hanney, replacing the majority of the existing 30mph speed limit, leading out of the village to the following points:

1. A338 Oxford to Wantage Road:
a. Northern end - a point 155 metres north of Ashfields Lane
b. Southern end - a point 35 metres north of Steventon Road
2. The Causeway - its junction with School Road
3. Summertown - a its junction with the A338 Oxford to Wantage Road,
4. Herman Close - its junction with Steventon Road,
5. Whitfield Gardens - its junction with Steventon Road.

The 30mph speed limits will be retained on the A338 Oxford to Wantage Road south of its junction with the Steventon Road, and on Steventon Road eastwards of its junction with the A338 - where they will meet the existing 50mph speed limits which will also remain, with Officers having taken the current road environment & traffic usage into account.
The Oxfordshire County Council (East and West Hanney) (Speed Limits) Order 2019 will be revoked/replaced as necessary.

Objections to the proposals and other representations specifying the grounds on which they are made may be sent in writing to the address below by the 03 February 2023.
The Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.

(KINGSTON LISLE PARISH) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 20**

NOTICE is given that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.
The effect of the order - in order to help improve road safety on local roads following concerns raised by the parish council - is to introduce a 20mph speed limit throughout Kingston Lisle, replacing the majority of the existing 30mph speed limit, leading out of the village to the following points:
1. Fawler Road - a point 300 metres northwest of its junction with the unnamed road running south to the B4507,
2. Unnamed road running north to Baulking Lane - a point 287 metres north of its junction with Hill View,
3. Unnamed road running south to the B4507 - a point 115 metres south of its junction with Fawler Road.
Additionally, on the Fawler Road running through Fawler -a 20mph speed limit will be introduced for 480 metres covering the residential area, and a 275 metre stretch of 30mph speed limit retained between Kingston Lisle & Fawler, with Officers having taken the current road environment & traffic usage into account.
The Oxfordshire County Council (Restricted Roads) (Kingston Lisle Parish) Order 2000 will be revoked/replaced as necessary.
