Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (B4194 Pearl Lane, Astley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022
Order made: to close that part of B4194 Pearl Lane from
its junction with U11028 Kings Arms Lane to its junction
with B4196 Astley.
Reason: New development work by Stave-Con.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises
fronting the highway affected where there is no other
form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: B4196 Astley, B4196 Areley Common,
U11026 Red House Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:
17 days. Commencing: 4 January 2023.
(B4219 Cowleigh Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023
Proposed Order: to close that part of B4219 Cowleigh
Road from its junction with U63544 Old Hollow to
its junction with U63527 Hornyold Road and U63531 Belvoir Bank.
Reason: New vehicle crossing by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2207 Cowleigh Bank, Into Herefordshire, A4103 Storridge, A4103 Dragons Cross to Hereford Road, A4103 Leigh Sinton, B4503 Malvern Road, B4503 Leigh Sinton Road, B4503 Newtown Road, A449 Worcester Road, B4219 Cowleigh Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days. Commencing: 24 January 2023.
(U63361 Spring Lane, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023
Proposed Order: to close that part of U63361 Spring Lane from its junction with C2288 Pickersleigh Avenue to its junction with U63361 Spring Lane.
Reason: Drainage/flood alleviation by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U63361 Spring Lane, A449 Worcester Road, C2288 Pickersleigh Avenue and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 23 January 2023.
(C2213 Rectory Lane, C2213 School Lane and C2213
The Cross, Ripple) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022
Order made: to close that part of (Closure 1) C2213 School Lane from its junction with C2213 Station Road and C2213 The Cross for a length of 234.27 meters northbound, (Closure 2) C2213 The Cross from its junction with C2213 Station Road and C2213 School Lane to its junction with C2213 Rectory Lane and (Closure 3) C2213 Rectory Lane from its junction with C2213 The Cross to its junction with the Border with Gloucestershire.
Reason: Lay new ducting by Openreach.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Into Gloucestershire County, A38 Stratford Bridge, U60404 Stratford Lane, C2213 School Lane and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 4 January 2023.
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) Worcestershire County Council (Malvern Hills District) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2013 (Variation) Order 2022 (Prohibition of Waiting at Any Time on Grovewood Road, Malvern) On 15 December 2022 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following length of road in Malvern: -
Grovewood Road (North/South Side) from its junction with B4208 for a distance of 92m in a westerly direction. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles. The Order will come into operation on 5 January 2023.
