NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, Intend, under Its relevant powers, to make the following Order: C1228 Portway To Haywood, Callow, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1228 Portway To Haywood, Callow, behind Toyota Garage. Grid Ref: 349735/235442. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal Is via C1228 onto the A49 onto the C1226 and vice versa.

The said closure Is required due to new supply works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come Into force on 8th of February 2023 and remain In force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 2 days.
