Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: B4232, West Malvern Road, Malvern, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the B4232, West Malvern Road, Malvern, from Hannakin to the junctiom with the B4218. Grid Ref 376861 / 243697. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the B4219 onto the A449 onto the B4218 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to rural fibre installation works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 16th of January 2023 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 weeks.
