NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, Intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: C1249 From C1236 To Green Acres, St Weonards, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1249 From C1236 To Green Acres, St Weonards, approximately 130m east of the junction with the C1236. Grid Ref: 349314 / 224044. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal Is via the C1236 onto theA466 onto the C1249 and vice versa.

The said closure Is required due to private foul connection works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 30th of January 2023 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 2 weeks.
