NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: U80005, East Street, Hereford, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U80005, East Street, Hereford, between the junction of Broad Street and 101 East Street. Grid Ref: 351024 / 239973. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Broad Street onto Kings Street onto St Nicholas Street onto the A49 onto the A438 onto Union Street.

The said closure is required due to crane operation works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 15th of January 2023 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 night (1600hrs - 0200hrs).
