Section 14(1) Of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) Yatton Road, Biddestone; from its junction with A420 to its junction with Cuttle Lane. B) Cuttle Lane, Biddestone; from its junction with Yatton Road to its junction with C179. C) C86 (Part), Biddestone; from its junction with C159 to its junction with A4 to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway surface retexturing. Alternative route A) via C164 - A420 and vice versa. Alternative route B) via C86 (unaffected length) - A4 - A350 - A420 - C164 and vice versa. Alternative route C) via A4 - A350 - A420 - C86 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 23 January 2023 and the closures will take place consecutively in the order Closure A, Closure A and B, Closure C and will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 until 31 January 2023. This Order will come into operation on 23 January 2023 and the closure will be required between the hours of 19:30 and 05:30 for 1 night. G) Little Ann Lane (Part), Milton Lilbourne; from its junction with B3087 for a distance of approximately 30m in a southerly direction to enable Openreach to carry out access to the carriageway boxes to enable cabling works for new fibre and associated works. Alternative route via B3087 - C266 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 23 January 2023 and the closure will be required between the hours of 21:00 and 06:00 for 2 nights. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: I) Stubbs Lane (Part), Kington St Michael; from its junction with Allington Lane for a distance of approximately 85m in a northerly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out excavation to install water mains and other associated works. Alternative route via C153 - C154 - Stubbs Lane (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 03 January 2023 and the closure will be required until 13 January 2023. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to temporarily introduce a 40mph speed restriction on the following lengths of roads: A) A350 (Part), Kington Langley; from its roundabout junction with B4122 for a distance of approximately 380m in a southerly direction. (north and southbound). B) A350 M4 Roundabout Junction 17, Kington Langley and Stanton St Quintin; for the complete length of gyratory. C) B4122 (Part), Kington Langley; from its roundabout junction with A350 for a distance of approximately 395m in an easterly direction. D) A429 (Part), Stanton St Quintin; from its roundabout junction with A350 to its junction with C166 to enable M J Church to carry out implementation of 40mph speed limit. The speed restrictions will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This speed limit restrictions will come into operation on 03 January 2023 and will be required until 31 July 2023. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months. Notice Of Confirmation Of An Order Town And Country Planning Act 1990 And Wildlife And Countryside Act 1981 The Wiltshire Council West Lavington 12 Diversion And Definitive Map And Statement Modification Order 2022
On 16 December 2022 Wiltshire Council confirmed the above order under section 257 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990. The effect of the order as confirmed is to divert Footpath West Lavington 12, Dauntsey's School, High Street, West Lavington, at OSGR SU 0007-5376 in a southeasterly direction for approximately 41m to OSGR SU 0010-5373, to a new route at OSGR SU 0007-5376, around the coach, mini-bus and taxi drop-off/pick-up area for approximately 109m to OSGR SU 0010-5373, having a width of 1.5-2m. With a spur from OSGR SU 0012-5377, leading in a generally easterly direction for approximately 14m to the High Street at OSGR SU 0013-5378, having a width of 2m. Thereupon the Devizes Rural District Council Area Definitive Map and Statement dated 1952 shall be modified accordingly. This order comes into force on the date on which Wiltshire Council certify that the terms of Article 2 of the order have been complied with, but if any person aggrieved by the order desires to question its validity or that of any provision contained in it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the order, he or she may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under section 287 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 within 6 weeks from the date on which notice is first published as required by paragraphs 7 and 8 of Schedule 14 to that Act.

Highways Act 1980 - Section 119 And Wildlife And Countryside Act 1981 - Section 53 The Wiltshire Council Wilcot 20 And 21 Diversion And Definitive Map And Statement Modification Order 2022
On 16 December 2022, Wiltshire Council confirmed the above order made under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980. The effect of the order as confirmed is to divert Footpath Wilcot 20 situated between Oare Hill and the Ox Path, Oare in the parish of Wilcot, leading from OSGR SU 1587-6324 in a south easterly direction for approximately 110m to OSGR SU 1599-6317, to a new route at OSGR SU 1590-6328, leading in a generally south south easterly direction for approximately 60m to OSGR SU 1592-6322 and continuing in a generally east south easterly direction for approximately 90m to at OSGR SU 1600-6319, having a width of 3m. And stop up Wilcot 21 leading from OSGR SU 1588-6323 in a north north easterly direction for approximately 47m to OSGR 1590-6328. And thereupon the Pewsey Rural District Council Area Definitive Map and Statement dated 1952 shall be modified accordingly.
