The Waltham Forest (Temporary Restrictions) (Eastfield Road E17) (No. 1) Order 2022 (TT66(22))

1. The Council of the London Borough of Waltham Forest HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that on 22nd December 2022 it made an Order to allow crane operations and utility works at a development site in Eastfield Road E17 to be carried out in a safe and efficient manner.

2. The general effect of the Order will be, only at such times and to such extent as regulatory signs are displayed, to prohibit vehicles (except works vehicles) from entering, proceeding, waiting or loading for any purpose, "at any time', in Eastfield Road E17, between its junction with Church Hill to the common boundary of Nos. 19 and 21 Eastfield Road E17.

3. Whilst the prohibitions referred to in paragraph 2 above remain in force, advance warning signage and alternative routes for traffic shall be in place.

4. Vehicles waiting or loading in disregard of this Order will be removed.

5. The prohibitions mentioned above will not apply in relation to any vehicle being used:

(a) in connection with the said works; and

(b) for ambulance, fire brigade or police purposes (if the works allow).

6. The Order will come into operation on 16th January 2023 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner.

NOTE: Signage will be placed in advance of any works in Eastfield Road E17 which would give more specific details on the exact dates of the prohibitions, effects of any temporary traffic management and diversion routes as necessary.

The Order title: THE WALTHAM FOREST (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) (EASTFIELD ROAD E17) (NO. 1) ORDER 2023 mentioned in the notice of intention to make an order for above mentioned measures has been superseded by the Order title mentioned at the beginning of this notice.
