The County Council of Durham (Ann Street, Consett) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022
The Council on 16/12/22 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on a 15 meter length of Ann Street, Consett to the rear of 60-64 C10A Front Street to enable water main repair works to be undertaken. Alternative route from east side of closure in a south westerly direction on Seymour Street to west end of closure and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 9/1/23 from 8am and are anticipated to be completed in 5 days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
