(Wix Road, Beaumont) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Wix Road, Beaumont in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 145m north west of its junction with Harwich Road for a distance of approximately 250m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd January 2023 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WDHPT30B01 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Wix Road, Clacton Road, Colchester Road, Wix Road -Stones Green - Zc12, Harwich Road, Oakley Road, School Road, Beaumont Road, Cross Hill and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 6th January 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier
(Bargate Lane, Lawford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bargate Lane, Lawford in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 180m north west of its junction with Harwich Road for a distance of approximately 90m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th January 2023 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ901EA1631 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while maintenance works are undertaken by Cadent.
An alternative route is available via Harwich Road, Coggeshall Road, Long Road East and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 16th December 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier
(Colchester Road, Great Oakley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Colchester Road, Great Oakley in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Wix Road to its other junction with Wix Road a distance of approximately 70m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th January 2023 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC111WD1PT52R001 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while duct clearing and spine cabling works are undertaken by Openreach. An alternative route is available via Heath Road, Clacton Road, Wilson Close, School Road, The Street, Crow Lane, Thorpe Road, Swan Road, Tendring Road, Colchester Road, High Street, Landermere Road, Harwich Road, Wix Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 16th December 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier
(School Road/High Street, Great Oakley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of School Road/High Street, Great Oakley in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 105m north east of the junction with Wix Road for a distance of approximately 330m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 7th January 2023 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008OGEA56850897 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Openreach.

The Order came into effect on 16th December 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier
(Straight Road, Bradfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Straight Road, Bradfield in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 160m north of its junction with Steam Mill Road for a distance of approximately 315m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th January 2023 for 8 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30054192502 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Steam Mill Road, Heath Road, Cansey Lane, The Street, Station Road, Ship Hill, Brickmans Hill, Jenkins Hill, Harwich Road and vice versa (with access only into Heath Road, Windmill Road and Straight Road). The Order came into effect on 16th December 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier
