(Hackmans Lane, Purleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hackmans Lane, Purleigh in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 330m north west of its junction with Haag Hill for a distance of approximately 120m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 10th January 2023 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008OGEA79204200A -Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cabling works are undertaken by Openreach. An alternative route is available via Hackmans Lane, Marlpits Road, Burnham Road, Chelmsford Road, Barons Lane, Fambridge Road, Latchingdon Road, Stow Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 29th December 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(The Street, Latchingdon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of The Street, Latchingdon in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Butterfield Chase to its junction with Ramsey Chase a distance of approximately 60m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11th January 2023 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AD037RO61312647 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while sewer works are undertaken by Anglian Water An alternative route is available via Scotts Hill, Southfield Way, Burnham Road Roundabout, Burnham Road, Southminster Road, Church Road, Maldon Road, Fambridge Road, Lower Burnham Road and vice versa with access only into the B1018. The Order came into effect on 15th December 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier
