Notice of application for the grant of a Premises Licence under Section 17 of the Licensing Act 2003

Notice is hereby given that Broadwick Venues Limited has applied to The London Borough of Tower Hamlets for the grant of a Premises Licence in respect of premises to be known as Oval Studios, 29-32 The Oval, London E2 9DT. The proposed licensable activities and their hours are the sale of alcohol on and off the premises and the provision for regulated entertammeent indoors and outdoors (to include plays, films, indoor sporting events, live music, recorded music, performances of dance and anything of a similar description but not to include publicly ticketed music events): Sunday to Saturday 07:00 to 01:30. The provision for Late Night Refreshment: Sunday to Saturday 23:00 to 01:30.

The opening hours of the premises will be Sunday to Saturday 07:00 to 02:00 The London Borough off Tower Hamlet Council's Licensing Register is kept at the office of the Licensing Team, Environmental Health & Trading Standards, Mulberry Place, 5 Clove Crescent, London E14 3BG (open 10am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday), 020 7364 5008, where off details of the application may be inspected.

Any representations against the application must be made in writing and received by the Licensing Team at the above address, or by email to

licensing@towerhamlets.gov.uk

, no later than the 11th January 2023. Individuals, businesses and other  bodies may make representations in relation to the application. Representations must be relevant and can only be on the licensing objectives of the prevention of crime and disorder, public safety, the prevention of public nuisance, and the protection of children from harm. Copies of all representations will be sent to the applicant.

Persons making representations will have to appear at the Councils' Licensing Sub-Committee. Note: It is an offence, liable on conviction to a fine up to £5,000 for an applicant to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with the application.
