(Thames Estuary Asset Management Programme 2100 (TEAM2100), Canvey Island) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2022 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section S14(1) and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), and Schedule 1 of The Traffic Orders Procedures Regulations 1996. Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 5, Canvey Island, in the Borough of Castle Point from a point approximately 166 metres northwest of the Bay Café at Western Esplanade, eastwards to a point approximately 100 metres north of the easternmost point of Footpath 5 on Marine Parade, a distance of approximately 3,200 metres.

From a point approximately in line with the junction of Eastern Esplanade and Maurice Road, east, then north for a distance of approximately 1,700 metres

Phase 4 – Thorney Bay, Western Esplanade



From a point approximately 166 metres northwest of the Bay Café at Western Esplanade, south, then east for a distance of approximately 615 metres.

Phase 5 – Labworth Café+



From a point approximately 207 metres south of the Bay Café at Western Esplanade, southeast, then east for a distance of approximately 710 metres.



04 October 2023 to 15 May 2024




Phase 6 – Concorde Beach, Café Hardstanding



From a point approximately in line with the junction of Eastern Esplanade and Furtherwick Road, generally east for a distance of approximately 490 metres.



30 September 2024 to 11 April 2025



The closure is scheduled to commence on 03 January 2023 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required to allow for works to be carried out on the southern shoreline, mainly Revetment replacement. An extension to the Order will be requested from the Secretary of State to cover the remainder of the programme. Alternative pedestrian routes will be signed as each phase progresses. The Order will come into effect on 03 January 2023 and may continue in force for 6 months, an extension to the Order will be requested from the Secretary of State to cover the remainder of the programme.



(Bardfield, Vange) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.


Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bardfield, Vange in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 55m northeasterly of its junction with Clay Hill Road for a distance of approximately 75m in a


northeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th January 2023 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2331412 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with


appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while footway and cycleway repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Bardfield, Clay Hill Road, Byfletts, Kent View Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 15th December 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.



(Benfleet Road, Hadleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.


Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Benfleet Road, Hadleigh in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with London Road for a distance of approximately 95m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 22nd January 2023 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WD8LJW4TA – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The


closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead structure works are undertaken by Openreach. An alternative route is available via London Road, Kiln Road, Bread and Cheese Hill, High Road, Essex Way, Benfleet Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 15th December 2022 and may continue in force


for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.



(Church Road, Vange) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Vange in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Osbourne Road for a distance of approximately 105m in a northwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th January 2023 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit


(YN121CV-13571-ZH/Z – MBNL). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while telecoms


maintenance works are undertaken by MBNL. An alternative route is available via Church Road, Broadmayne, Southerhay, Clay Hill Road, Timberlog Lane, Mopsies Roundabout, Broadmayne. The Order came into effect on 15th December 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.



(East Street, Rochford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of East Street, Rochford in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Old Ship Lane to its junction with South Street a distance of approximately 100m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th January 2023 for 3 nights (21:00-05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (BC325CE-2EASTSTR-V8007 – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public


and workforce while duct installation works are undertaken by Openreach. An alternative route is available via South Street, Bradley Way, West Street, Ashingdon Road, Dalys Road, North Street, Weir Pond Road, East Street. The Order came into effect on 15th December 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.



(Golden Cross Road, Ashingdon & Spencer Gardens, Rochford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.


Effect of the order:


1. To temporarily close that length of Golden Cross Road, Ashingdon in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Brays Lane for a distance of approximately 190m in a north westerly direction.


2. To temporarily close that length of Spencer Gardens, Rochford in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Brays Lane for a distance of approximately 170m in a south easterly then south westerly direction.


The closures are scheduled to commence on 4th January 2023 for 129 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5021001182949/4023 – Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains replacement works are undertaken by Cadent. An alternative route is available via Boswell Avenue, Ashingdon Road,


Canewdon View Road and vice versa with access only into Golden Cross Road. The Order came into effect on 15th December 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.



(High Road, Benfleet) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.


Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of High Road, Benfleet in the Borough of Castle Point, from a point approximately 35m south east of its junction with Brook Road for a distance of approximately 50m in a south


easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th January 2023 for 1 night (19:30-23:00), or where stated on a valid permit (AD037RO57612778/1 – Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while tarmac replacement works are undertaken by Anglian Water. An alternative route is available via London Road, Bread and Cheese Hill, Kiln Road, Rayleigh Road, Benfleet Road, Essex Way and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 15th December 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.


(Kiln Road, Thundersley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.


Effect of the order:


1. To temporarily close that length of Kiln Road, Thundersley in the Borough of Castle Point, from both of its junctions with London Road to its junction with Hadleigh Park Avenue a distance of approximately 115m.


2. To temporarily introduce a ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ in the above lengths of road, for the duration of the above closure only.



"The Essex County Council (Castle Point Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the


temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time’ restrictions and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the


aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The closure/restriction is scheduled to commence on 16th January 2023 for 13 nights (21:00 – 06:30), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2336982


– Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure/restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while


carriageway surfacing works are undertaken by Essex County Council. Alternative routes are available via:

(Old Ship Lane, Rochford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Old Ship Lane, Rochford in the District of Rochford, from its junction with East Street to its junction with North Street a distance of approximately 85m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 18th January 2023 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit


(BC008WC8P2J8L-POLE – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole renewal works are undertaken by Openreach. An alternative route is available via East Street, North Street.


The Order came into effect on 15th December 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.



(Paglesham Road, Paglesham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Paglesham Road, Paglesham in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 910m south then south east of its junction with East Hall Road for a distance of approximately 120m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 20th January 2023 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008OGEA79888988 – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cabling works are undertaken by Openreach. No alternative route is available for this closure. (Rawreth Lane, Rawreth) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Rawreth Lane, Rawreth


in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Bedloes Lane for a distance of approximately 36m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 18th January 2023 for 1 night (19:00-05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP10000012364 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public


and workforce while streetlight replacement works are undertaken by Essex County Council.


An alternative route is available via Rawreth Lane, Chelmsford Road, Battlesbridge Bypass, A130 New Bypass Roundabout, A130. The Order came into effect on 15th December 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.



(Various Roads, Rochford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of Clearway) (Streetworks No.1) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.


Effect of the order:


1. To temporarily close those various lengths of road in the District of Rochford as detailed in the Schedule.


2. A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the various lengths of road as specified in the schedule for the duration of the restrictions in order to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping restriction will be in force.


3. "The Essex County Council (Rochford District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the


temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the


aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The works are scheduled to commence after 15th December 2022, as stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works with


appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road. The restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while duct main works are undertaken by City Fibre. The Order came into effect on 15th December 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier
