Wiltshire, Various Temporary Road Closures and Speed Restriction

SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:
A) C317 (Part), Sutton Mandeville; from its junction with Lagpond Lane to its junction with Panters Road to enable BT to carry out pole and associated works. Alternative route via C317 (unaffected length) - C276 - C64 - A30 - C317 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 18 January 2023 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day. B) Bratch Farm Lane, West Tisbury; from its junction with C43 to its junction with C298 to enable Openreach to carry out pole and associated works. Alternative route via C43 - C298 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 16 January 2023 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 until 27 January 2023. C) C12 (Part), Bishopstone; from its junction with Church Lane to its junction with Flamstone Street to enable BT to carry out pole tests and associated works. Alternative route: via C12 (unaffected length) - C64 - A30 - A36 - A3094 - C320 - C12 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 16 January 2023 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 4 days. For further information please contact BT on 03700 500 792.
D) Laverstock Road (Part), Salisbury; from its junction with Bourne Avenue to its junction with Manor Farm Road to enable Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd to carry out bridge investigation and associated works. Alternative route via Manor Farm Road -Shady Bower - Laverstock Road (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 18 January 2023 and the closure will be required between the hours of 21:00 and 05:00 for 1 night. E) Salt Lane (Part), Salisbury; from its junction with Greencroft Street to its junction with St Edmunds Church Street.
F) Greencroft Street, Salisbury; from its junction with Bedwin Street to its junction with Winchester Street to enable BT to carry out overhead equipment for connection and associated works, Alternative route via Bedwin Street - St Edmunds Church Street -Pennyfarthing Street - Milford Street - Guilder Lane and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 20 January 2023 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day. G) C62 (Part), Sedgehill and Semley; for a distance of approximately 60m either side of the rail bridge to enable Wessex Internet to carry out carry out trial holes and associated works. Alternative route via C62 (unaffected length) - C43 - C296 - A350 - C62 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 16 January 2023 and the closure will be required for 5 days.

The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to temporarily introduce a 30mph speed restriction on the following length of road: A350 (Part), Sedgehill and Semley; from outside Brocks Plantation for a distance of approximately 800m in a northerly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out mains and associated works. The speed restrictions will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This speed limit restrictions will come into operation on 16 January 2023 and will be required until 20 January 2023. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
