(Part of Footpath 16, Woodlands) Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order 2022
On 25 November 2022 Dorset Council confirmed (without modification) the above-named order as unopposed.
The effect of the order as confirmed will modify the definitive map and statement for the area by adding to them part of Footpath 16, Woodlands from its junction with Verwood Road at SU 05020905, south along a tarmac surfaced path to the unaffected part of Footpath 16 at its junction with Footpath 19 at a. The width of this part of Footpath 16 is 4 metres.
A copy of the order as confirmed and the order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at Reception, County Hall, Colliton Park, Dorchester during normal office hours. Copies are also available on our website at www.dorsetcouncil.gov.uk/row-orders.
The order came into effect on 25 November 2022. If any person aggrieved by the Order desires to question its validity or that of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or of any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the Order, you may within six weeks from 22 December 2022, make an application to the High Court.

Temporary Closure of Public Footpath E2/22
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All pedestrians, horse riders and cyclists will be prohibited from proceeding along the Public Right of Way Footpath E2/22, from grid reference 402851.75 to grid reference 99376.60, a distance of approximately 190 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 14 January 2023 for a period of 26 weeks, but it may be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport, if necessary. This Order is required to allow Paul Basham Associates (Agents for Barratt Homes) to carry out construction on the development known as Quarter Jack Park.
An alternative route will be put in place to enable travel around the closed section.

Temporary Closure of Public Bridleway E54/13, Verwood
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All horse riders will be prohibited from proceeding along Bridleway 13, from grid reference SU 10145 05938 to grid reference SU 10402 06159, approximately 440 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users.
It will come into operation on 28 December 2022 for a period of 26 weeks, but it may be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport, if necessary.
This Order is required to allow repairs to a bridge unsuitable for horse riders to use to take place. Please note there is no alternative route deemed suitable for equestrian use.

Temporary Closure of Wimborne Road West, Ferndown
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Wimborne Road West, Ferndown between 325 Wimborne Road West and Award Road (in both directions), a distance of approximately 430 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation between 20:00 - 06:00 on 23 January 2023 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 28 January 2023.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out resurfacing works.
A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.

Any person who uses or permits the use of a vehicle in contravention of the Notice will be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding £1000.
Temporary Closure of Beaucroft Lane,
Colehill
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Beaucroft Lane, Colehill between Wesley Road and Northleigh Lane (in both directions), a distance of approximately 150 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 8 January 2023 and will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport if necessary.
This Order will safe access to carry out works to a collapsing embankment adjacent to the highway.
A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.
