Sellafield Ltd is applying for Planning Permission at Sellafield, Seascale, Cumbria, CA20 IPG for Section 73 planning application to planning permission 4/07/9009 re-profiling, extending the operating lifetime and increasing the height of the existing Calder Landfill Site to allow amendments to conditions I (time limit), 2 (approved documents) and II (restoration) to allow for an extension to the operational lifetime until 2038 and increasing the capacity of the facility by utilising the valley area. (Ref. 4/22/9005).
