1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey in agreement with London Borough of Enfield proposes to make the above mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49, 51 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and under section 90a and 90c of the Highways Act 1980 and the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999 to introduce a raised speed table.
2. The general effect of orders will be to introduce:-
(a) School Street Zone SS29 - Devonshire Hill Primary School: Timed pedestrian and cycle zones in which motor vehicles, except for those issued a permit would be prohibited from entering, Mon-Fri 8:30-9.15am 2.30-3.45pm during school term times and when the appropriate signs are on display on the following road:
Weir Hall Road N17: From its junction with the northern kerb line of Oak Avenue to its junction with Barclay Road.
Those eligible for permits include properties and residents of 14-18 Weir Hall Road (evens), 29-37 Weir Hall Road (odd), 36 Weir Hall Road, The Weymarks (all properties), Medical practitioners attending those residing in the zone, disabled badge holders who reside outside the zone but require essential access and school buses and vehicles used in the transport of children and adults with special access needs in relation to Devonshire Hill Primary School within the zone. All vehicles will be allowed to exit the zone whilst it is in operation.
(b) To relocate the Permit Holders Parking bays located on the western footway of Weir Hall Road N17 outside properties No.29 to No.35 from the footway into the carriageway.
(c) To remove all No Stopping on School Keep Clear restrictions on Weir Hall Road N17 between the northern kerb line of Oak Avenue to its junction with Barclay Road.
(d) To relocate the Permit Holders Parking bays located on the western footway of Weir Hall Road N17 outside properties No.1 to No.56 The Weymarks from the footway into the carriageway.
(e) To relocate the Permit Holders Parking bays located on the western footway of Weir Hall Road N17 outside properties No.57 to No.112 The Weymarks from the footway into the carriageway. The will also be reduced in size to 25.2 metres.
(f) To relocate the Pay to Park bays located on the eastern footway of Weir Hall Road N17 outside the playing field of Devonshire Hill Primary School from the footway into the carriageway. The will also be reduced in size to 29.13 metres.
(g) To introduce double yellow lines to replace any existing single yellow lines or No Stopping on School Keep Clear restrictions on either side of Weir Hall Road N17 between the northern kerb line of Oak Avenue to its junction with Barclay Road.
(h) To introduce a raised speed table at the following location:

2. A copy of the proposed Orders, the Council's statement of reasons for making the Orders and a plan showing the locations and effects of the Orders may be inspected during normal office working hours until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or the Council decides not to make the Orders, at the reception desk, Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR or can be viewed online at
4. Any person wishing to object to the proposed Orders or make other representation should send grounds for their objection via the online portal
