London Borough Of Newham Notice Of Making Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14(1) High Street, Stratford, E15 Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic, Variation Order 2022

Coming into force: Monday 19th December 2022 and coming into force immediately
1. The NEWHAM LONDON BOROUGH COUNCIL being the traffic authority, in the said London Borough, and with the approval of the Secretary

of State for Transport hereby gives notice it made a Variation Order, the London Borough of Newham, Manor Road, Canning Town, E16, (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic), Variation Order 2022. The general effect of which will be that no person shall cause any vehicle to park or remain in the roads as specified in Schedule 1 below, when the appropriate signs are displayed.
2. The Variation Order is being made, to vary The London Borough of Newham, High Street, Stratford, E15, (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic), Order 2021

3. The Variation Order is being made, to allow Curo Construction, and its contractors carry out development works on or near the public highway.

4. No person shall enter or cause to enter the various roads as per schedule 1, at such times as appropriate traffic signs are displayed in accordance with the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016(c).

5. Without prejudice to the validity of anything done or to any liability incurred in respect of any act or omission before the coming into force of this Notice, the Newham (Waiting and Loading Restriction)(Special Parking Area) Order 2011 (d) shall apply to the roads or parts of roads mentioned in paragraph 2 above as if, for the purposes of the application of Article 5(1) of that Order to the said lengths of street, the prescribed hours were "at any time" or as displayed.

6. Where required Pedestrian and vehicular access will be diverted via local adjacent footways and roads, one way streets where necessary, may

be reversed or reverted to two-way working, road closures and parking prohibitions will apply when appropriate signs are displayed.
7. Nothing in this Order shall apply to vehicles being used for Fire, Ambulance or Police purposes, or with the permission or at the direction of a Police Constable in uniform, or a Traffic Warden. Nothing in paragraph 2 of the Order shall apply to vehicles necessarily used in connection with the works.

8. This Order shall now expire at 2359hrs on Monday 19th June 2023 or on completion of the works at each location, whichever is the sooner.
