The London Borough Of Barking And Dagenham (Langhorne Road, Dagenham) (Temporary Prohibition Of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2022 Notice Of Making
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in order to facilitate sewer cleaning works, the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham has made a Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
2. The order is expected to come in to effect on Sunday 8 January 2023. The works expected for:
* Sewer cleaning works to take 1 day to complete. Completion date estimated as Sunday 8 January 2023 with the work expected to be undertaken between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm.
However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be re-introduced should further works be required.
3. When the works are taking place and the appropriate traffic signs are being displayed the Order will temporarily:-
* Prohibit all vehicular traffic on Langhorne Road, both sides, from its junction with Ford Road to a point 7 metres west of its junction with Manning Road.
* Prohibit all vehicular traffic on Manning Road, both sides, from a point 11.3 metres south of the common boundary of Nos. 31 and 33 Manning Road in a southerly direction for a distance of 27.5 metres.
? Suspend the Resident Permit Holders Only Zone HW Mon-Sat 8.30am-5.30pm bays on Langhorne Road, north side, at the following locations:
* Outside Nos. 89 and 91 Langhorne Road, Outside Nos. 99 to 105 Langhorne Road, Opposite Nos. 68 and 70 Langhorne Road, Opposite Nos. 76 to 86 Langhorne Road.
* Suspend the Resident Permit Holders Only Zone HW Mon-Sat 8.30am-5.30pm bays on Langhorne Road, south side, at the following locations:
* Outside Nos. 84 and 86 Langhorne Road, Outside Nos. 76 Langhorne Road, Outside Nos. 62 and 64 Langhorne Road, Outside Nos. 60 Langhorne Road, Outside Nos. 56 Langhorne Road, Outside Nos. 46 to 52 Langhorne Road.
* Suspend the Disabled Blue Badge Holders Only bay on Langhorne Road, north side, Opposite No. 72 Langhorne Road.
4. Alternative routes for Vehicular traffic will be maintained and signed:
? Via Heathway (A1240), Church Elm Lane and Ford Road.
