The London Borough Of Barking And Dagenham (Waiting Restrictions) (Heathway And Raydons Road) Amendment No. * Order 202*
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham in exercise of its powers under sections 6, 124 and Parts I to IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended (hereinafter called "the Act") and all other enabling legislation and powers and after consultation with the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis in accordance with Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Act propose to make the above Order, the effect of which will be to:
1. Revoke the No waiting Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm restrictions at the following locations:
a. Heathway, west side, from a point 9.6 metres south of the common boundary of Nos. 653 and 655 Heathway in a southerly direction to a point 5.1 metres south of the common boundary of Nos. 639 and 641 Heathway.
b. Heathway, east side, from a point 10 metres south of the common boundary of Nos. 536 and 538 Heathway in a southerly direction to a point 2.8 metres north of the common boundary of Nos. 639 and 641 Heathway.
Barking and Dagenham hereby GIVES FURTHER NOTICE in exercise of the powers under section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to;
2. Introduce Zebra crossings and associated zig-zag markings on Heathway, west and central sides of the carriageway, from a point 9.6 metres south of the common boundary of Nos. 653 and 655 Heathway in a southerly direction to a point 5.1 metres south of the common boundary of Nos. 639 and 641 Heathway.
3. Introduce Zebra crossings and associated zig-zag markings on Heathway, east side of the carriageway, from a point 10 metres south of the common boundary of Nos. 536 and 538 Heathway in a southerly direction to a point 2.8 metres north of the common boundary of Nos. 639 and 641 Heathway.
Barking and Dagenham hereby gives Further Notice in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 90A-F of the Highways Act 1980 as amended and of all other enabling powers and in accordance with the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999 as amended and after consultation with the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis intends to construct the following traffic calming measures:
4. A 75mm high raised table across the entire carriageway width with 5m plateau length and 1:10 gradient in Raydons Road at its junction with Parsloes Avenue.
5. 75mm high round top speed humps across the entire carriageway width on Raydons Road at the following locations:
a. Outside No. 73 Raydons Road for a length of 3.70metres.
b. Outside No. 63 Raydons Road for a length of 3.70metres.
c. From a point 11.7 metres west of its junction with Pasture Road for a distance of 3.70 metres in a westerly direction.
d. From a point 12.3 metres east of its junction with Pasture Road for a distance of 3.70 metres in an easterly direction.
e. Outside No. 7 Raydons Road for a length of 3.70metres

Council's reasons for proposing the Orders are available to view on the

Any objections and other representations to the proposed Orders must
be made in writing stating the grounds on which they are made and sent
for the attention of Jacquie Harris to the address below, within
21 days from the date of publication of this Notice or by visiting the
council website and following the link below:
