The County Of Cumbria (Various Roads, Barrow-In-Furness) (Consolidation And Minor Amendment Of Traffic Regulations) (Order 2001) Variation Order (No.44) 2022
1. Cumbria County Council hereby give notice that on 6 December 2022 it made the above Order under Sections 1, 2, 19, 32, 35, 35A, 38, 45, 46, 47, 49, 51, 53, 64 and 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
2. The Order will come into operation on 2 January 2023 and its effect will be to: -
(a) Introduce the following restrictions on Duke Street, Barrow-in-Furness: -
(i) "No Waiting At Any Time" adjacent to the new trees;
(ii) "Limited Waiting Parking Place, Monday - Saturday, 8 am -6pm, waiting limited to 1 hour, no return within 2 hours";
(iii) "Disabled Badge Holder Only Parking Places".
(b) The existing restrictions on Buccleuch Street will be amended to accommodate the above proposed restrictions. PLEASE REFER TO THE DOCUMENTS ON THE WEB-SITE
AND ON DEPOSIT FOR FULL DETAILS.
3. Full details of the Order, together with plans showing the lengths of road concerned, and a statement of the Council's reasons for making the Order, may be inspected at

4. If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or any instrument made there under has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may within six weeks of 6 December 2022 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
