The Waltham Forest (Tavistock Road E7) (Temporary Restictions) (No. 1) Order 2022 - (Tt63(22))
1. The Council of the London Borough of Waltham Forest HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that on 15th December 2022 It made an Order to allow Inspection and maintenance works to telecommunication apparatus to be carried in a safe and efficient manner by T-Mobile in Tavistock Road E7.
2. The general effect of the Order would be, only at such times and to such extent as regulatory signs are displayed to:
(a) restrict vehicles (except works vehicles) from entering, proceeding, waiting or loading, for any purpose "at any time' in Tavistock Road E7 between its junctions with Cann Hall Road E11 and Ramsay Road E7; and
(b) suspend the existing south-westbound one-way working in Ramsay Road E7, between its junctions with Blenheim Road E15 and Tavistock Road E7, to allow access.
3. Whilst the prohibitions referred to in paragraph 2 above remain in force, advance warning signage and alternative routes for traffic and pedestrians shall be in place.
4. Vehicles waiting or loading in disregard of this Order would be removed.
5. The prohibitions mentioned above would not apply in relation to any vehicle being used:
(a) in connection with the said works; or
(b) for ambulance, fire brigade or police purposes (if the works allow).
6. The Order will come into operation on 16th January 2023 and will be valid for 3 months, or until the said works are completed, whichever is the sooner.
NOTE: Signage will be placed in advance of any works in the above-mentioned roads which would give more specific details on the exact dates of the restrictions and effects of any temporary traffic management as necessary.
