The Waltham Forest (Various Roads) (Structural Programme) (Various Measures) (No. 3) Order 2022 (Tt68(22))
1. The Council of the London Borough of Waltham Forest HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that on IS* December 2022 it made an Order to enable highway maintenance and lining works to be carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
2. The general effect of the Order would be, only at such times and to such extent as regulatory signs are displayed, to prohibit vehicles (except works vehicles) from entering, proceeding, waiting or loading for any purpose, at any time, in:
* (High Street Ward) (estimated between 9 - 14th January 2023)
* Hervey Park Road E17
* (Chingford Green Ward) (estimated between 9 - 14th January 2023)
* Arabia Close E4 o Crescent Road E4 o Mornington Road E4 o Woodberry Way E4
* (Larkswood Ward) (estimated between 9 Jan - 14 Jan 23)
* Harold Road E4
* (Cann Hall Ward) (estimated between 16-21 January 2023)
* Morris Road E15
* (Forest Ward) (estimated between 23 - 28 January)
* Peterborough Road E10
* (Lea Bridge Ward) (estimated between 30 January - 4 February 2023)
* Albany Road E10 o Stanley Road E10
* (Upper Walthamstow Ward) (estimated between 6-11 February 2023)
* Hale End Road E17 o Woodstock Road E17
* (Grove Green Ward) (estimated between 6 Feb - 11 Feb 23)
* Tyndall Road E10
* (William Morris Ward) (estimated between 9 January - 3 March 2023)
* King Edward Road E17
* (Hatch Lane and Highams Park North Ward)
* Hatch Lane E4 Chadwick Avenue to Manor Way.
3. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter, proceed, wait or load for any purpose, at any time, within 30 metres of the junction of any road adjoining the roads or sections of roads contained in paragraph 2 above.
4. Whilst works are being carried out in any roads mentioned in paragraph 2 the one-way workings / no entry prohibitions for those sections of roads, or in any road adjoining those said sections of roads mentioned in paragraph 2 will be temporarily suspended.
5. Whilst the prohibitions referred to in paragraph 2 above remain in force, alternative routes for traffic would be indicated by traffic signs.
6. Vehicles waiting or loading in disregard of this Order would be removed.
7. The probitions mentioned above would not apply in relation to any vehicle being used:
(a) in connection with the said works; or
(b) for ambulance, fire brigade or police purposes.
8. The Order will come into operation on 5'" January 2023 and would be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner.
NOTE: These works would not be carried out simultaneously in all roads but in a sequence as directed by the Council. Signage will be placed in advance of any works in the above-mentioned roads which would give more specific details on the exact dates of the prohibitions (the above dates are not absolute but are estimated), effects of any temporary traffic management and diversion routes as necessary.
The Order title: THE WALTHAM FOREST (VARIOUS ROADS) (STRUCTURAL PROGRAMME) (VARIOUS MEASURES) (NO. 3) ORDER 2023 mentioned in the notice of intention to make an order for above mentioned measures has been superseded by the title mentioned at the beginning of this notice.
