London Borough Of Harrow The Harrow (Off Street Parking Places) (Amendment No. 6) Traffic Order 2022 The Harrow (Housing Land Off Street Parking Places) (Amendment No. 1) Traffic Order 2022

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Harrow on 12 December 2022 made the above mentioned Orders under Sections 35, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the above mentioned Orders will be to:

a. revoke provision for cash payments and ticket machines in the off-street car parks listed in Schedule 1 to this Notice;

b. introduce provision to pay parking charges in certain retail outlets across the London Borough of Harrow;

c. introduce provision to pay parking charge on site in the off-street car parks listed in Schedule 2 to this Notice.

3. A copy of the Orders, which will come into operation on 3 January 2023, of the Harrow (Off Street Parking Places) Traffic Order 2017 (and of the Orders which have amended that Order) and the Harrow (Housing Land Off-Street Parking Places) Traffic Order 2017 can be inspected at Greenhill Library, Perceval Square, College Road, Harrow, HA1 1GX between 10am to 6pm Monday to Saturday and 11am to 3pm Sunday.

4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
