London Borough Of Merton Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14m (West Barnes Lane. Kt31 (Temporary Restriction Of Traffic) (No. 9) Order 2022
1. The London Borough of Merton Council hereby give notice that to facilitate lifting and inspection works at the Motspur Park Level Crossing on West Barnes Lane, KT3, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrian and vehicular traffic in the said road.
2. Whilst the works take place no person will:-
(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in West Barnes Lane between a point 20 metres south-west of the Motspur Park level crossing and a point 20 metres north-east of that level crossing;
(b) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph (a) above;
(c) enter or proceed on foot in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph (a) above.
3. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
4. An alternative route for:-
(a) diverted vehicular traffic will be via West Barnes Lane, Claremont Avenue, Burlington Road and West Barnes Lane, or vice versa;
(b) pedestrians will be via the adjacent footbridge.
5. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal of the Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
6. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -
(a) any person carrying out the works or any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes; or
(d) so as to prevent pedestrian or vehicular access to premises in or adjacent to the length of road specified in paragraph 2 above, insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the works.
7. The Order will come into operation at 12.01 am on Sunday 8th January 2023 and remain in force until 6am the same day.

London Borough Of Merton Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Sections 14(11 (Belvedere Drive. Wimbledon Hill Road And Woodside. Sw191 (Temporary Restriction Of Traffic) Order 2022
1. Further to the notice advertised in the Wimbledon and Wandsworth Times on 14th July 2022 regarding temporary traffic restrictions in Belvedere Drive, Wimbledon Hill Road and Woodside, SW19 to facilitate public realm improvement works in the said roads, the Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that there have been date changes relating to the suspension of parking in Belvedere Drive and the suspension of the south-eastbound bus lane in Wimbledon Hill Road.
2. It is anticipated that the parking places suspensions and temporary waiting restrictions in Belvedere Drive, from its junction with Wimbledon Hill Road north-eastward for a distance of 30 metres, will continue to apply until 30th April 2023.
3. It is anticipated that the south-eastbound bus lane on the north-east side of Wimbledon Hill Road, between Belvedere Drive and Woodside, will be suspended from 1st January 2023 until 30th April 2023.
4. The above suspensions shall apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

The Broadway. Sw19 (Temporary Restriction Of Trafficl Order 2023
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to Facilitate a crane operation at No. 247 The Broadway, SW19; they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular and pedestrian traffic in the said road.
2. During the works, no person would:-
(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in The Broadway, between its junction with Trinity Road and its junction with Latimer Road;
(b) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above;
(c) enter or proceed in the footway on the south side of The Broadway, from a point 9 metres east of the common boundary of Nos. 235 and 241 The Broadway eastward for a distance of 55 metres.
3. Any designated parking place situated in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above would be suspended for the duration of the works.
4. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
5. Pedestrians affected by the footway closure should proceed via the footway opposite.
6. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed:-
(a) westbound via Kingston Road, Approach Road, Raynes Park Bridge, Coombe Lane, Lambton Road, Worple Road, Francis Grove, St George's Road, Wimbledon Bridge Road and The Broadway;
(b) eastbound via Merton High Street, Haydons Road, Queen's Road and The Broadway, or via Gladstone Road, Sir Cyril Black Way, Hartfield Road, Kingston Road and Merton Road.
7. Nothing in the Order would apply: -
(a) to any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes subject to site conditions in any emergency; or
(d) so as to prevent pedestrian access to the properties adjacent the work site.
8. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
9. The Order would come into operation on Sunday 15th January 2023 would remain in force for a maximum period of 3 months. Works are anticipated to be carried out on Sunday 15th January 2023 only.

London Borough Of Merton Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14(11 (Florence Road. Sw191 (Temporary Restriction Of Trafficl (No. 41 Order 2022
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate new water connection works in Florence Road, SW19, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.
2. During the works no person will cause or permit any vehicle to:-
(a) enter or proceed in Florence Road, between the common boundary of Nos. 27 and 29 Florence Road and the common boundary of Nos. 35 and 37 Florence Road; or
(b) wait, including for the purposes of loading or unloading, in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above.
3. Any designated parking place situated in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above will be suspended.
4. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
5. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed via Trinity Road, Clarence Road and Ashley Road, or vice-versa.
6. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform, or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency; or
(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited road or length of road insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any waiting prohibition imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
8. The Order will come into operation on Monday 9th January 2023 and remain in force for 6 months.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(11
(CHAMBERS PARK HILL AND COPSE HILL. SW201 (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFICl ORDER 2023
1. The London Borough of Merton Council hereby give notice that to facilitate Thames Water valve repair works to be undertaken in Copse Hill, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in Chambers Park Hill and Copse Hill.
2. During the works, no person would:-
(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in:-
(i) Chambers Park Hill, from the southern kerb-line of Copse Hill southward for 5 metres; or
(ii) Copse Hill, the westbound lane, between a point 20 metres east of the eastern kerb-line of Chambers Park Hill and a point 15 metres west of the western kerb-line of Chambers Park Hill;
(b) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purposes of loading or unloading any vehicle, in:-
(i) the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a)(i) above; or
(ii) Copse Hill, both sides, between a point 20 metres east of the eastern kerb-line of Chambers Park Hill and a point 15 metres west of the western kerb-line of Chambers Park Hill.
3. The restrictions would apply only during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
4. Any designated parking place situated in the length of Copse Hill specified in sub-paragraph 2(a)(ii) above would be suspended for the duration of the works.
5. Chambers Park Hill is a cul-de-sac and no diversion for vehicular traffic is applicable.
6. Any vehicle that is in contravention of any waiting restrictions imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
7. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency; or
(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited road or length of road insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.
8. The Order would come into operation on Tuesday 16th January 2023, with the works anticipated to be completed on Wednesday 17th January
2023. However, the Order would remain in force for a maximum period of 3 months and its provisions would be re-introduced during that period should further works be required. Dated: 15 December 2022.
LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(11 (EASTFIELDS ROAD AND GROVE ROAD. CR41 (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFICl (NO. 31 ORDER 2022
1. The London Borough of Merton Council hereby give notice that to facilitate pedestal replacement and barrier works at the Eastfields Road level crossing, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrian and vehicular traffic in Eastfields Road and Grove Road.
2. Whilst the works take place no person will:-
(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter, proceed, wait, load or unload in: (i) Eastfields Road, between its junction with Grove Road and a point
25 metres north-west of the level crossing in Eastfields Road; and (ii)Grove Road, from its junction with Eastfields Road south-eastward for a distance of 10 metres; or
(b) enter or proceed on foot in the lengths of road listed in subparagraph 2(a) above.
3. The prohibition will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
4. Vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited lengths of road will be maintained insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.
5. Pedestrian access to properties adjacent to the prohibited lengths of roads will be maintained at all times.
6. Alternative routes for diverted traffic will be as follows:
(a) for vehicles from Grove Road, via Tamworth Lane, Cedars Avenue, Commonside East, Commonside West, Upper Green East, London Road, Raleigh Gardens, Holborn Way, London Road, Lock's Lane and Eastfields Road;
(b) for vehicles from Eastfields Road, via Lock's Lane, London Road, Holborn Way, Upper Green West, Upper Green East, Commonside West, Commonside East, Cedars Avenue, Tamworth Lane and Grove Road;
(c) for pedestrians, via the adjacent footbridge.
7. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes subject to site conditions during any emergency.
8. Nothing in paragraph 2(b) above will apply to persons connected with the execution of the works.
9. The Order will apply from 11 pm on Saturday 17th December 2022 until 7am on Sunday 18th December 2022.

(LINKS ROAD. SW171 (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFICl ORDER 2023
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate new water connection works in Links Road, SW17, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.
2. During the works no person would cause or permit any vehicle to:-
(a) enter or proceed in Links Road, SW17, from its junction with Hailsham Road eastward for a distance of 17 metres;
(b) wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the length of Links Road specified in sub-paragraph (a) above.
3. Any designated parking place situated in the length of Links Road specified in paragraph 2 above would be suspended for the duration of the works in that length of road.
4. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
5. Nothing in the Order would apply: -
(a) to any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions during any emergency; or
(d) so as to prevent vehicular access to premises in or adjacent to the road or length of road specified in paragraph 2(a) above.
6. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure in Links Road should proceed using the A216 (Mitcham Road and Streatham Road) and the A217 (London Road) or vice-versa.
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
8. The Order would come into operation on Monday 16th January 2023 and would remain in force for 6 months.
