(Blacksmiths Lane/Church Road, Wickham Bishops) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Blacksmiths Lane/Church Road, Wickham Bishops in the District of Maldon, from the junction with Arbour Lane to the junction with Wellands a distance of approximately 400m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th January 2023 for 26 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5011001195938 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas mains replacement works are undertaken by Cadent. Alternative routes are available via:
1. Station Road, Maldon Road, Newland Street, Colchester Road, Northbound Slip from Witham

To A12, A12 J B1389 North Of Witham Join Ne, A12 Through J B1389 North Of Witham Ne, London Road, A12 From J B1389 North Of Witham To J B1024 South Of Kelvedon Ne, Oak Road, Henry Dixon Road, Braxted Road, Braxted Park Road, Lea Lane, Kelvedon Road, Tiptree Road, The Street (with access only into Station Road, Church Road and Blacksmiths Lane).
2. The Street, Tiptree Road, Kelvedon Road, Lea Lane, Braxted Park Road, Braxted Road, London Road, A12 from J B1024 South of Kelvedon to J B1389 North of Witham SW, A12 J B1389 North of Witham Leave Including Two Way Section SW, Westbound Slip from A12 to Witham, Colemans Bridge, Southbound Slip to Witham from A12, Colchester Road, Newland Street, Maldon Road, Station Road (with access only into Station Road, Church Road and Blacksmiths Lane).

The Order will come into effect on 22nd December 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Fambridge Road, Althorne) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Fambridge Road, Althorne in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 125m west of its junction with Summerhill for a distance of approximately 100m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th January 2023 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008OGEA55106567D - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Openreach. An alternative route is available via Fambridge Road, Summerhill, Main Road, Burnham Road - B1018, Burnham Road, The Street, Cold Norton Road, Lower Burnham Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 22nd December 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
