(Shalford Green, Shalford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Shalford Green, Shalford in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 185m north west of its junction with Garretts Lane for a distance of approximately 140m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th January 2023 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD01459556957 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while chamber installation works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via Shalford Road, Jaspers Green, Kynaston Road, Church End, Braintree Road, Water Lane and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 22nd December 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Toppesfield Road, Finchingfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Toppesfield Road, Finchingfield in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 460m north east of its junction with Wethersfield Road for a distance of approximately 190m in a north easterly then northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 20th January 2023 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008FAA7235Q01 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Toppesfield Road, Wethersfield Road, Church Hill, The Causeway, Duck End, Howe Street, Upper Howe Street, Colemans Farm Lane and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 22nd December 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Various Roads, District of Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order (No.8) 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of road in the District of Braintree as specified in schedule 1.

2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of road and those in schedule 2 for the duration of the closure

to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting, No Loading No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping restrictions will be in force. "The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 8th December 2022, exact dates will be specified on one.network The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
