ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL SILVERHILL ROAD, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of gas works proposed to be executed on or near Silverhill Road, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Silverhill Road from its junction with Leeds Old Road to its junction with Alma Place.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access, access for emergency service vehicles and vehicles associated with the works will be allowed.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Silverhill Road (unaffected section), Moor Park Drive, Roydstone Terrace, Leeds Old Road and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on the 3rd January 2023 and remain in force until 18:00 hours on the 20th January 2023 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
