The Isle of Wight Council's Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders

Notice is hereby given that the Isle of Wight Council in not less than seven days from the appearance of this Notice, under Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the following Orders: -

The Isle of Wight Council (Eddington Road, Seaview, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 4 2022

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one shift between 0800 hours and 1600 hours, between Wednesday 28 December 2022 and Friday 30 December 2022, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Eddington Road, Seaview, for its entire length. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during carriageway repair works.

The Isle of Wight Council (Eddington Road, St Helens, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 2 2022

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one shift between 0800 hours and 1600 hours, between Wednesday 28 December 2022 and Friday 30 December 2022, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Eddington Road, St Helens, between its junctions with Park Lane and Attrills Lane. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during carriageway repair works.

The Isle of Wight Council (Lynch Lane, Calbourne, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 7 2022

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one shift between 0800 hours and 1600 hours, between Wednesday 28 December 2022 and Friday 30 December 2022, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Lynch Lane between Its junctions with Winkle Street and Calbourne and Porchfield Bridleway 16B. The alter­native route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during carriageway repair works.

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 1800 hours on Friday 09 December 2022 until 1800 hours on Friday 16 December 2022, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Ashey Road between its junctions with Pitt Street and Hazelwood Close. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during retaining wall works.

The Isle of Wight Council (Queens Road, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary One-Way Restriction) Order No 3 2022

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 1700 hours on Friday 09 December 2022 until 1700 hours on Friday 30 December 2022, or when the works has been completed, a one-way restriction will be Introduced along Queens Road, from Binstead Road to Westwood Road, in an eastbound direction. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The restriction Is required for safety during utility works.

The Isle of Wight Council (Newnham Lane, Binstead, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 6 2022

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 1700 hours on Friday 09 December 2022 until 1700 hours on Friday 30 December 2022, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Newnham Lane from Its junction with Newnham Road for a distance of 292 metres. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure Is required for safety during utility works.

The Isle of Wight Council (Newnham Road, Binstead, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 2 2022

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 1700 hours on Friday 09 December 2022 until 1700 hours on Friday 30 December 2022, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Newnham Road from its junction with Newnham Lane to its junction with Newnham Road, for a distance of 10 metres. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during utility works.

The Isle of Wight Council (Purdy Road, Carisbrooke, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2022

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that between 0700 and 1700 hours on Monday 19 December 2022, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Purdy Road, between its junctions with Wellington Road and Nightingale Road. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during tree cutting works.

The Isle of Wight Council (Newport Footpath 29, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians and Cyclists) Order No 1 2022

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one shift between 0800 hours and 1600 hours, on Friday 16 December 2022, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any pedestrian or cyclist to proceed along Newport Footpath 29 between its junctions with Rlverway and Cycle Track Cross Town Newport Link. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during arboriculture works.

The Isle of Wight Council (Godshill Road, Whitwell, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 2 2022

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one shift between 0930 hours and 1530 hours, between Monday 19 December 2022 and Wednesday 21 December 2022, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Godshill Road between Its junctions with Southford Lane and Sheepwash Lane. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during carriageway repair works.

The Isle of Wight Council (Galley Horn Lane, Brading, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 2 2022

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for five shifts between 0800 hours and 1600 hours, between Mon­day 19 December 2022 and Friday 23 December 2022, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Pyle Shute for Its entire length. The Isle of Wight Council (The Causeway, Freshwater, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2022

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0001 hours on Monday 19 December 2022 until 2359 hours on Friday 23 December 2022, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along The Causeway for its entire length. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during parapet works. The Isle of Wight Council (Brocks Copse Road, Wootton, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 3 2022

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one shift between 0800 hours and 1600 hours, between Tues­day 20 December 2022 and Thursday 22 December 2022, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Brocks Copse Road between Its junctions with Westwood Lodge - Access Road and Palmers Road. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during ditching works.

Notice is hereby given that the Isle of Wight Council under Section 21 of the Town Police Clause Act 1847, has made the following Orders:-

The Isle of Wight Council (Various Streets, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic & Temporary No Waiting At Any Time) Order No 3 2022

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between 1730 hours until 1930 hours on Friday 161* December 2022, or when the event has finished, whichever is the sooner, 1) no person shall cause any non-event related vehicle to proceed along the following lengths of road; Dover Street, Park Road, Star Street, High Street, Cross Street, Melville Street and Vernon Square; 2) No person shall cause any non-event related vehicle to wait along Dover Street on either side for its entire length and Vernon Square on either side for its entire length. The closure and restriction are required for safety during the Ryde Merry and Bright event. The diversion will be signposted locally.

The Isle of Wight Council (Various Streets, Yarmouth, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 4 2022

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between 1700 hours until 1930 hours on Saturday 17th December 2022, or when the event has finished, whichever is the sooner, no person shall cause any non-event related vehicle to proceed along The Square, Yarmouth, the closure will be at the junctions with High Street, between South Street and The Square and St James Street at its junction with The Square. The closure Is required for safety during the Carols In the Square event. The diversion will be signposted locally.
