Temporary Closure of Old Road, Wimborne Minster
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Old Road, Wimborne Minster between Julians Road, Wimborne Minster and Cuthbury Close, a distance of approximately 30 metres (in both directions). The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 3 January 2023 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 13 January 2023. The closure will be in place 24hrs a day.
This Order will enable Gracelands Ltd, safe access to install new foul and storm sewer pipes and 3 manholes in the highway.
An alternative route will be signed using; Julians Road - Victoria Road.

Temporary Traffic Management Order, Various Roads, Iwerne Minster
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984,
as amended. The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which
require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway
users. It will come into operation on 9 January 2023 and will remain in force for 18 months.
However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 25 January 2023.
This Order will enable Wessex Water, safe access to carry out sewer renovation works.
The effect of this Order is as follows:
[1] To impose a temporary road closure on Old School Lane, in its entirety, a distance of approximately 120 metres.
[2] To impose a temporary road closure on Post Office Road, between its junction with Blandford Road and its junction with The Chalk, a distance of approximately 150 metres. [3] To impose a temporary road closure on Watery Lane, between its junction with Old School Lane and its junction with The Chalk, a distance of approximately 90 metres.
[4] To impose a temporary road closure on Watery Lane, between its junction with The Glebe and its junction with Church Road, a distance of approximately 150 metres.
Please note the closures will be in operation, as and when indicated by signs on site. Only one
closure will be in place at any given time, meaning there will be no conflicting diversion routes.

Temporary Closure of Various Roads, Colehill
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Various Roads, Colehill as listed: [1] Wesley Road between 4 Wesley Road and Beaucroft Lane; [2] Beaucroft Lane between 18 Beaucroft Lane and 43 Beaucroft Lane. The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 23 January 2023 with the closure in place 24hrs a day and will remain in force for 18 months. However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 10 February 2023. This Order will enable SGN, safe access to carry out new gas mains connections in the highway. An alternative vehicular route will be signed using: Northleigh Lane - Leigh Road - St Johns Hill - Rowlands Hill - Wimborne Road - Beaucroft Road / Cranfield Avenue.

Temporary Closure of Public Footpath E2/22
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All pedestrians, horse riders and cyclists will be prohibited from proceeding along the Public Right of Way Footpath E2/22, from grid reference 402851.75 to grid reference 99376.60, a distance of approximately 190 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 14th January 2022 for a period of 26 weeks, but it may be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport, if necessary.
This Order is required to allow Paul Basham Associates (Agents for Barratt Homes) to carry out construction on the development known as Quarter Jack Park.
An alternative route will be put in place to enable travel around the closed section.

Temporary Closure of Public Bridleway E54/13, Verwood
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All horse riders will be prohibited from proceeding along Bridleway 13, from grid reference SU 10145 05938 to grid reference SU 10402 06159, approximately 440 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 28 December 2022 for a period of 26 weeks, but it may be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport, if necessary. This Order is required to allow repairs to a bridge unsuitable for horse riders to use to take place. Please note there is no alternative route deemed suitable for equestrian use. It will come into operation on 8 January 2023 and will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport if necessary.
This Order will safe access to carry out works to a collapsing embankment adjacent to the highway. A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.
