Temporary Closure of Ware Lane, Lyme Regis
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along WARE LANE, LYME REGIS between Little Ware and Barn Cottage, a distance of approximately 60 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 03 January 2023 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 09 January 2023.
This Order will enable South West Water safe access to provide new water service. An alternative vehicular route will be signed using; A3052.

Temporary Closure of Pilsdon Lane, Pilsdon
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along PILSDON LANE, PILSDON, between Pilsdon Autos and Mabeys Farm, a distance of approximately 100 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 03 January 2023 and will remain in force for 18 months; however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 10 February 2023.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out replacement of a culvert.
A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around
the closed sections.

Notice of Confirmation of a Public Path Diversion and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order Highways Act 1980 Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. Dorset Council (Footpath 15 (Part) and Footpath 16, Wootton Fitzpaine at Thorn Farm) Public Path Diversion Order 2021
On 18 November 2022 Dorset Council confirmed the above-named order made under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 as unopposed and the Council has certified that work has been carried out to bring the site of the new highway mentioned in article 3 of the order into a fit condition for use by the public.
The effect of the order as confirmed is to divert Footpaths 15 (part) and Footpath 16, Wootton Fitzpaine at Thorn Farm as shown on the order map as follows:

(No recorded width).
Footpath 16, Wootton Fitzpaine:
The full width of the footpath from its junction with the D10610 road at SY 35719585, generally south across a field to SY 35709575 and then south east along a driveway and through a yard, to its junction with the current route of Footpath 15 at SY 35819549 and continuing south east, across a field, to its junction with Footpath 13 (part of the Monarch's Way) at SY 3589995377. (No recorded width). To the new paths:

Width: 3 metres, except for 1.1 metres at SY 35889544. Limitation: Pedestrian gate at SY 35889544 to BS5709:2018. Footpath 16, Wootton Fitzpaine:
From its junction with the D10610 road at SY 35699585 south south west along a tarmac surfaced driveway to SY 35699584 then south south west, south and south east along the driveway to the field boundary at SY 35709575. Continuing generally south along the field boundary, on a grass surfaced path, to a second field at SY 35689561 and generally south west along the field boundary to its junction with Footpath 13 (part of the Monarch's Way) at SY 35619546. Width: 3 metres. Limitations: Field gates at SY 35709575, SY 35699584 and SY 35689561 all to BS5709:2018.

The order comes into force on 7 days from date of confirmation but if any person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within six weeks from 15 December 2022, make an application to the High Court.
