Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) C64 (Part), Fovant; from its property known as Fovant Village Hall to outside property known as Harwood to enable Wessex Water to carry out permanent reinstatement and associated works. Alternative route via C64 (unaffected length) - B3089 - A30 -C64 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 12 January 2023 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 13:00 for 1 day. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months. B) Church Hill (Part), Redlynch; from its junction with Besomer Drove to its junction with Goggs Lane to enable BT to carry out access to underground equipment and associated works. Alternative route via Princes Hill - Bowers Hill - The Ridge - Forest Road - Whiteshoot Hill - Whiteshoot - School Road - Church Hill (unaffected length) and vice versa. D) Goggs Lane (Part), Redlynch; from its junction with Church Hill for a distance of approximately 50m in a north easterly direction to enable BT to carry out underground equipment and associated works. Alternative route via Princes Hill - Bowers Hill - Grove Lane -Timberly Lane - School Road - Church Hill (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 22 December 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
